discuss case studies and learn about updates in compression and lymphedema therapy. There will be time for questions and answers

and we will learn to know and learn from each other in a relaxed retreat atmosphere.

This will also help to standardize treatment and help patients to get the

best possible care and answers from every qualified therapist in the province. By working together, we can make a difference.

Educational Seminar

Dr. Gabrielle Kropp will give educational seminars to healthcare providers

in hospitals and clinics, for nurses and therapist, to get a better understanding of Lymphedema in Cancer Patients.

The seminar will deliver:

- Introduction of the Lymphsystem and Lymphedema

- Awareness and Precautions in clinic settings 

- Treatment options

- Patient education

- Compression therapy

Lymphedema Clinic for Hospitals

Treatment outside the hospital is not covered for lymphedema patients by Provincial Healthcare. For this reason Dr. Kropp will train therapist in hospital settings, to be able to run a Lymphedema Clinic for patients with secondary Lymphedema. 

The program will deliver:

- Lymphsystem and secondary Lymphedema

- Setting up a clinic and provide information to patients

- Compression therapy and bandaging

- Measuring and fitting of compression garments

- Treatment options ML and patient selfcare

- Continuing education
